Description
Profile for expansion joints – Novojunta 1 PVC It is an arrow-shaped expansion joint profile, made of co-extruded PVC, consisting of two bodies, rigid and flexible, which allow the absorption of small variations in movement while offering good resistance.
The denser zone acquires the ideal rigidity for supporting the tile and adapting the mortar, while the upper zone, of lower density, allows movement without permanent deformation thanks to its greater elastic limit, thus absorbing expansions and contractions.
If you need to polish the pavement, keep in mind that you will need to install this joint slightly below the level of the pavement.
This movement joint is available in a wide range of colors.
General Recommendations
- For exterior pavingIt is recommended to close off surfaces up to 16 m²2 at most, without the distance between the joints being greater than 5 linear meters.
- For interior flooring, with smaller temperature variations, it is recommended to enclose surfaces up to 40 m²2 at most, without the distance between the joints exceeding 8 linear meters
